Position Summary

The Logistics Specialist to perform delivery of customer’s product by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on roads. He/ she will meet the delivery schedule by complying safety and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To perform delivery of goods and ensure all delivery is on schedule.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
  • To pick and pack goods for delivery to customer site.
  • Ensure all the documentation related to the loads is checked.
  • Reports and documents discrepancies on orders received to the Immediate Superior.
  • Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and checklist procedures.
  • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
  • Conduct work carefully to reduce negative impact/ risk to the environment and health & safety.
  • Waste segregation and maintain a proper housekeeping.
  • Recommend management systems improvement measures to the Immediate Superior.
  • Comply with management systems procedures.
  • To follow the company’s procedures, safety rules and measures stated in the WSH Risk Assessment.
  • Not to engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
  • Use of personal protective equipment provided, to ensure safety while working.
  • The responsibilities to participate in protecting the environment, preventing pollution, complying with applicable requirements as identified in the policy statements and promoting sustainable practices. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement

  • GCE ‘N’ Level or completed secondary education.
  • At least 1 year driving experience.
  • Must possess Class 4 driving license. Must possess the capability of following orders and completing the same in the assigned time.
  • Skills to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines.
