Job Description:
The Logistics Quality Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and improving operational quality across logistics activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and regulatory obligations. The role supports operational excellence through quality audits, KPI monitoring, service failure investigations, corrective action management, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor daily logistics and freight forwarding and 3PL activities to ensure compliance with company SOPs and customer requirements.
Conduct operational quality reviews and file audits on import and export shipments.
Verify adherence to established processes, work instructions, and service standards.
Identify quality issues, operational risks, and process deviations and escalate where required.
Maintain quality records, reports, and supporting documentation.
Investigate documentation errors, shipment delays, and operational discrepancies.
Support operational teams in implementing preventive measures to reduce recurring errors.
Record and investigate customer complaints, shipment exceptions, and service failures.
Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies. (5 Why)
Coordinate corrective (CAR) plans with relevant stakeholders.
Initiate, prepare, and maintain Corrective Action Reports (CARs) for operational non-conformances, service failures, customer complaints, audit findings, and compliance issues.
Follow up on outstanding action items and escalate overdue actions where necessary.
Assist in quality awareness and SOP training.
Maintain quality records and controlled documents.
Support onboarding of new employees on quality standards and requirements
Job Requirements
Possess a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline
Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in contract logistics, freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or quality assurance.
Working knowledge of air freight import/export operations, warehousing and transportation processes, customer service, SLA management, and quality management principles
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting skills
Strong technical writing skills with the ability to develop clear process documentation and reports
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
