What is Menyala

Menyala is a Venture Studio headquartered in Singapore, with startups launched around the world. We bring together builders, ideas, network and capital to build disruptive ventures.

What is the role?

We’re looking for an Investments Intern to support our venture-building efforts across investment evaluation, legal execution, and operational design. You’ll work closely with our investment and operations teams to assess emerging opportunities, support venture structuring, and help build the foundational systems behind new startups. This role is ideal for someone curious about how ventures are launched, structured, and funded from day one.

Responsibilities

The internship will focus on two key areas:
1. Investment & Fundraising Support

  • Support due diligence processes by organizing financial and legal materials for potential investors.
  • Assist in preparing reports, investor updates, and presentations for fundraising efforts.
  • Help manage contracts, vendor relationships, and financial operations to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute to developing operational frameworks and best practices for early-stage ventures.

2. Operational Execution & Legal Foundations

  • Review and organize legal documents such as NDAs, investment agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Contribute to the development of venture-building playbooks, frameworks, and operational toolkits.

What We’re Looking For

  • A self-starter with sharp analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
  • Curious about startups, venture capital, and how ventures are structured and launched.
  • Comfortable working independently in ambiguous situations—and asking great questions along the way.
  • Clear communicator with a strong eye for detail—especially when working with legal or investment documents.
  • Background in business, finance, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Bonus if you’re minoring in law or have a strong interest in legal and regulatory processes in venture building.

This internship offers a rare, behind-the-scenes view into how early-stage startups come to life—from opportunity identification to entity setup to investor readiness. If you're excited about helping turn bold ideas into structured ventures, we’d love to hear from you.
