Business UnitThe S1 Legal & Administration Line functions as the backbone support system for corporate security, legal affairs, government affairs, administrative affairs, procurement, infrastructure, and corporate social responsibility.What the Role Entails

1. Possess professional legal knowledge and skills, especially in-depth understanding of overseas Internet, content licensing and other tech-related business, including but not limited to game publishing, cloud business, content licensing, open source compliance, AI, etc.;
2. Provide fast and efficient legal compliance support at different stages of business development based on the specific legal environment, including but not limited to develop legal&compliance system, ensuring product and operational compliance, reviewing commercial contracts, and handling IP licensing transactions, etc.
3. Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, including other legal teams, business partners, finance and tax teams, policy teams, PR teams, and external partners such as law firms, to provide professional support for the development of overseas business.

Who We Look For
  • At least 5 years PQE (qualified in Hong Kong, Singapore, US, UK or other comparable common law jurisdiction);
  • Excellent command of both English and Putonghua (spoken and written) is required, in order to communicate with various stakeholders in headquarters;
  • Legal and regulatory compliance experience in-house or in law firms;
  • Prior regional experience advising on various regulatory affairs in technology field will be a plus;
  • Prior experience in litigation and investigations; or working in a government regulatory body would be an advantage;
  • Keen interest and good understanding of developments in the internet technology space and how it impacts the business is an asset;
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills;
  • Proactive approach and able to handle matters independently;
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate within a team;
