Group Details
Tradeweb is seeking a Junior Client Onboarding & Operations Administrator to join our International Legal Administration Team in Singapore.
This is an operational role supporting the onboarding and ongoing trading activity of Tradeweb’s institutional clients and dealers across international markets. It provides exposure to the operational infrastructure behind Tradeweb’s institutional trading business – client onboarding, trading permissions, dealer relationships, internal systems and the documentation required to support trading activity.
The role would suit someone interested in financial markets, trading operations, client onboarding or financial services who wants to develop an understanding of how institutional clients are onboarded and enabled to trade on an electronic trading platform. It is well suited both to those at the start of their career and to those looking to move into financial services from an administrative or operations background in another sector.
The International Legal Administration Team supports Tradeweb’s business across APAC and sits within the wider International Legal Team, which is primarily based in London. The successful candidate will be based in our Singapore office, work alongside the existing administrator, and collaborate closely with colleagues across Client Services, Sales, Dealer Relations, Finance and Legal.
Job Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient onboarding and enabling of participants to trade on the Tradeweb system, and that Tradeweb’s documentation is processed seamlessly from start through to completion. This process involves:
- processing, reviewing and filing (electronic and hard copy) client
- documentation.
- following internal client and dealer onboarding procedures.
- liaising externally with client and dealer onboarding teams, issuing and
- recording the email correspondence to dealers and clients required for audit
- purposes.
- liaising directly with the administration team and Legal Counsel based in the US,
- the UK and Singapore.
- liaising internally with various departments including Client Services, Sales,
- Finance, Dealer Relations and management; and
- updating internal company databases and production systems.
- Other day-to-day responsibilities will include processing, managing and/or
- updating:
- enablement requests and maintaining the requisite databases.
- name and/or entity change documentation, and updating the relevant
- departments.
- company deletions and letters of termination.
- new and renewing dealer contracts; and
- dealer contact lists.
Qualifications
We are interested in candidates who are keen to develop within financial services – whether you are early in your career or moving from an administrative or operations role in another sector. The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have an interest in financial markets, trading, fintech or financial services.
- Have strong attention to detail, be comfortable investigating discrepancies or
- incomplete information, and understand the importance of accuracy when
- working on production systems.
- Be comfortable working with processes, systems and data, and confident using
- Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple requests at different stages,
- taking ownership of tasks through to completion.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable
- working with colleagues across different teams and regions.
Experience in financial services is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided on Tradeweb’s systems, products, onboarding processes and documentation.
