Role: Lead System Analyst

Location: Singapore


We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire a Lead System Analyst to drive the modernisation and reliability of billing systems. This role will focus on ensuring system stability, quality, and scalability through strong QA governance, DevOps practices, and solution oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the reliability and performance of billing systems, including monitoring, observability, and incident management

  • Conduct technical solution reviews to ensure alignment with architecture, security, and performance standards

  • Define and enforce engineering standards, QA governance, and best practices across systems and integrations

  • Oversee release and change management processes, ensuring smooth deployment and rollback strategies

  • Drive test strategy and quality assurance, including automation, non-functional testing, and defect management

  • Manage and guide vendor engineering teams, ensuring delivery quality, SLA adherence, and issue resolution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and operational readiness

  • Ensure systems comply with security, audit and regulatory requirements

  • Prepare technical documentation and mentor team members to enhance overall engineering capability

Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, including systems analysis, QA, DevOps or production support

  • Strong experience in QA practices, including automated testing and release validation

  • Experience working with billing systems or similar enterprise platforms

  • Knowledge of BSS/OSS environments is an advantage

  • Proven ability in solution review, governance and enforcing engineering standards

  • Experience managing vendors or external teams

  • Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and APIs (REST/SOAP)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, production critical environment

Nice to Have
  • Experience in telecom billing or mediation systems

  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise system environments
