Middle office teams amongst investment companies are stretched between day-to-day operation tasks and new requests for business development, with situation intensified by growing complexity of financial markets. Process Brief 

Our Client & Managed Services team is part of the Buy Side Services organization providing support and services for our Buyside clients globally. As a member of this team – you are an individual who is enthusiastic, intellectually curious and takes pride in the work they do.  We offer the opportunity to showcase your subject matter expertise in the FactSet Performance Measurement, Attribution, Risk and Analytics products suite and solutions by bridging the gap between investment and software professionals. The role requires collaborative partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders including client representatives, sales, product specialists and engineers. 

 

About The Role

The Specialist Services Lead is a subject matter expert in FactSet’s suite of Specialty Products, tasked with retaining business by delivering on high-value engagements through exceptional client service.  They are primarily responsible for resolving client requests related to our Specialty Products, serving as main lines of contact for select specialty product users and clients, acting as escalation, and a key contributor to internal specialty product training. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • 60% Specialty Services retention efforts focused on both reactive and proactive client support work and other time and knowledge intensive projects.  Pro-active prioritizing of requests, issues and problems.  

  • 15% Actively contributes and validates best-practices initiatives and product/workflow enhancements for specialty clients.

  • 10% Commercial focus to identify areas for regional ASV growth for Managed Services.

  • 10% Collaborating, mentoring, training, supporting, and acting as escalation for other client teams at FactSet.

  • 5% Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge, advance, and execute Specialty Services value-add strategies.

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 7-9+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Technical and application knowledge. 

  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
