As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
  • Utilize Python and Java for data analysis and algorithm development.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and GenAI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform data mining and extraction from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in all projects.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Education: Degree in Engineering Stream, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Python and Java programming languages.
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • Strong background in GenAI and its applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and Java.
  • Expertise in GenAI technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience with big data tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes.
