Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing & Enablement, the Lead Product Marketing Manager, Intelligence & Industries drives Spring’s research and insights strategy—powering differentiated messaging and go-to-market execution across industries, segments, and personas. This role is the strategic engine behind how we understand the market, position against competitors, and tell compelling stories that resonate with buyers. It informs not only sales and marketing, but also product direction and broader company strategy.
This remote role (New York preferred) partners cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Growth, Enablement, Executive Leadership, and Content Marketing to ensure Spring shows up as a trusted expert—armed with the data, messaging, and industry-specific proof points to win new business and expand existing accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own Spring’s competitive intelligence and market research program—uncovering buyer needs, market shifts, and industry trends
- Develop segment- and industry-specific insights that inform strategic narratives, objection handling, and field-facing messaging
- Conduct win/loss interviews and customer research to deeply understand buyer psychology, decision criteria, and unmet needs
- Deliver insight-backed recommendations to GTM, Product, and Executive leaders to guide messaging, roadmap strategy, and campaign focus
- Partner with Sales and CS to build messaging that resonates across the customer journey—from pre-sale through renewal
- Collaborate with Enablement and Marketing teams to scale insights through training, playbooks, content, and campaigns
- Create customer stories, case studies, and proof points that validate Spring’s impact and expertise within key industries
- Produce quarterly market insights reports and maintain a library of battlecards, talk tracks, and positioning guides
- Automate intelligence workflows using tools like Gong, ChatGPT, Klue, Zapier, and other AI/automation platforms
- Quarterly market insights reports shared cross-functionally and referenced in strategy conversations
- Competitive battlecards clearly differentiate Spring and are regularly cited in field activity
- Segment-specific narratives and objection handling content used consistently in sales and CS conversations
- Win/loss interviews conducted for 70%+ of closed deals
- Spring is recognized internally and externally as a trusted expert across industries and buyer types
- Messaging and insights inform product innovation and roadmap prioritization
Required
- 5+ years of experience in B2B2C Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, or Market Research
- Deep experience conducting customer interviews and win/loss analysis
- Proven ability to translate research and data into positioning, messaging, and strategic recommendations
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, CS, Product, Growth, and Executive teams
- Fluency with tools like Gong, ChatGPT, Klue, Gemini, or Zapier
- Strong understanding of behavioral health, employer benefits, and healthcare decision-making
- Ability to balance ambiguity and speed with high-quality output in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience owning competitive intelligence programs end-to-end
- Familiarity with voice-of-customer and survey tools like Qualtrics or Typeform
- Background in healthcare, digital health, or SaaS
- Exposure to both new business and expansion-focused GTM motions
The target base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $184,750, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
