Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description
As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications, ensuring seamless integration with cloud services and databases, and automating workflows using various scheduling options.
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer with expertise in Java latest frameworks, Python, Pyspark ,AWS, Databricks, Database, ETL and SRE expertise.
Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance Regulatory Reports and responsible for its maintenance using Java Spring Boot framework
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Develop and optimize complex queries and procedures in Oracle Database
• Work in Postgres Database under Cloud environment
• Design and implement ETL processes using AWS Glue jobs with Pyspark to ensure efficient data integration and transformation
• Automate and schedule batch jobs using Control-M to streamline operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and related frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda,Databricks etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, including PL/SQL programming
• Experience with ETL technologies, specifically Glue(Pyspark), Pentaho, for data integration tasks
• Familiarity with Control-M, Autosys for job scheduling and automation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge on Databricks and DataLake house and Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins/other frameworks)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Exposure to Production Management process like Incidents, Change Management and other relevant process knowledge
