This Lead Engineer, Engineering - Electrical is responsible to lead team of engineers and technicians for daily routine and repair work orders as assigned. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and carry out basic repairs. Supervise vendors/service providers activities for daily routine electrical and maintenance work to ensure equipment is maintained in full operational status. Role will be responsible for general electrical and fire alarm management for operations and maintenance and spares. Supervise and train Engineers and Electrical Technicians on electrical and fire alarm system to improve their knowledge. Lead in Root Cause Analysis for equipment

This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do
  • Lead team of technicians for daily routine and repair work orders as assigned.

  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and carry out basic repairs.

  • Supervise vendors/service providers activities for daily routine electrical and maintenance work to ensure equipment is maintained in full operational status.

  • General electrical and fire alarm management for operations and maintenance and spares.

  • Supervise and train Electrical Technicians on electrical and fire alarm system to improve their knowledge.

  • Lead in Root Cause Analysis for equipment breakdowns.

  • Implement preventive maintenance programs by reviewing operations, quality control and maintenance reports and statistics, inspecting operating equipment and systems for conformance with operational standards/cGMP for electrical services.

  • Lead team of engineers and technicians for daily routine and repair work orders as assigned.

  • Respond on-call for maintenance/service breakdown and support ongoing operations.

  • ·Carry out electrical switching activities as authorized by LEW.

What we are looking for
  • Degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.

  • Relevant work experience in FDA regulated facility in a cGMP environment, semi-conductor or petrochemical industry.

  • Proficient with respect to the operation and maintenance of various electrical systems.

  • Understand the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical/electronic system that supports a complex manufacturing plant.

  • Good knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices.

  • Knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines and process validation.

  • Familiar with pharmacopoeia standards.
