Commercial Real Estate (CRE) provides a fully integrated platform of banking, financing, and capital markets solutions to commercial real estate clients including financial sponsors, institutional investors and asset managers, regional developers, and public and private corporations.
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Real Estate ("CRE") Vice President - Lead Transaction Manager to assume end-to-end accountability of transaction management of warehouse/repo facilities and asset funding deal management.
In this role, you will:
  • Track various legal agreements and commercial real estate due diligence items with bank counterparties.
  • Work on various projects as requested by management.
  • Review transaction requirements with customers.
  • Ensure receipt of all required approvals and documentation prior to closings.
  • Identify and mitigate business and legal risks within compliance requirements.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Interpret policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers.
  • Lead deal participants to achieve objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate lending products and loan lifecycles, industry best practices, understanding of credit agreements, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows, etc.
  • Prior experience working with clients to collect and review commercial real estate loan and due diligence documentation ahead of closing large transactions
  • Proven track record of prioritizing and proactively identifying and resolving problems under tight deadlines and the ability to incorporate status updates in real time
  • Ability to operate in a challenging and rapidly changing environment with a desire to accept new assignments
  • Ability to learn new principles and dynamic systems quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and senior management across and within the lines of business with a keen attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong analytical capability
  • Adaptability to changing processes
  • Flexibility to accommodate for fluctuating deal flow volumes as needed, including working extra hours as client needs dictate
  • Legal background or project management experience
  • Ability to train junior team members regarding various aspects of the Transaction Manager function
  • Experience managing complex transactions and clients
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.

  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $217,000.00
