What you will do

The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key national accounts, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and delivering tailored presentations and proposals to achieve sales objectives. You will analyze market opportunities, lead negotiations, and ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement and effective account management:

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain dynamic partnerships with key clients by anticipating their evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to craft strategic account plans that maximize revenue opportunities while enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision makers to drive customer loyalty and business growth.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, orchestrating seamless communication to ensure timely and innovative service delivery.
  • Conduct tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to effectively communicate value propositions to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales proposals and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and close deals.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and prepare detailed reports to inform business decisions.
  • Plan and oversee key account management activities, including marketing campaigns and sales programs, to maximize account performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align account execution plans with promotional and merchandising guidelines.    
  • Champion client advocacy within the organization, translating feedback into actionable improvements that elevate the overall customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of proven experience in key account management or sales roles within relevant industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and influence decision makers.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in project management and sales forecasting.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
