Position Summary

Manage strategic relationship with telcos, open channel retailer partners, and be accountable for monthly sales revenue target for designated accounts, for Samsung Electronics' Mobile Experience (MX) business in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives through joint-business-plan (JBP)
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within existing accounts
  • Conduct regular account business performance review (QBR)
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, terms & conditions for sales programs and all relevant commercial matters with key accounts
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts
  • Analyse partners’ data and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve partners’ performance and overall business performance for Samsung Mobile
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of channel promotions and other commercial activities, to meet both the business needs of external partners and Samsung Mobile Singapore

Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant sales experience in the mobile device and/or telecom industry is highly preferred
  • Experience in key account management and/or channel sales management is a strong plus
  • Results oriented and proven track record in meeting sales targets
  • Proficiency in building and nurturing long term business relationship with key accounts
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable in connecting and presenting to ‘C-suite’ executives, both internally and externally
  • Possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven, detailed and the ability to make business proposals/recommendations based on data and facts
  • Self-initiated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong team spirit and willingness to go the extra mile and contribute as a team player
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
