Intern will support evaluating investment opportunities in urban living, prepare financial models, and assist in market research within the investment team.

This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.
Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
1) Support the Keppel Urban Living team (i.e. student housing, built-to-rent, multi-family, co-living, etc.) in evaluating investment opportunities across Key Asia-Pacific market for its investment mandate.
2) Exposure to various urban living spectrum such as student housing, built-to-rent, multi-family, co-living, etc.
3) Prepare financial model, internal presentation and internal papers for approval.
4) Provide support to the investment deal on market research, updating internal data bases and other assignments.
Learning Outcomes:
1) Exposure and understanding the nuances in the various urban living sub-asset class types (i.e. student housing, co-living, etc.).
2) Understanding the intricacies of deal origination, deal sourcing and deal evaluation.
3) Improve communication skills both verbal and written.

1) 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate studying towards a degree in business, accountancy, finance, economics, real estate or other relevant disciplines.
2) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
3) Strong attention to detail.
4) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
