JOB DESCRIPTIONKeppel is a global asset manager and operator headquartered in Singapore. With operations in more than 20 countries worldwide, we provide innovative solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing needs across the energy transition, rapid urbanisation, and increasing digitalisation.
This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.
Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
• Support investment team in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, due diligence, executing acquisitions / divestment and post-closing monitoring.
• Preparation of papers, presentations and other materials.
• Working with internal function teams and external advisors on projects and fund raising.
Learning Outcomes:
• Gain an understanding of the investment life cycle.
• Understand the key considerations for infrastructure investing.
• Exposure to live transactions (where possible).JOB REQUIREMENTSJob Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Powerpoint and Excel.
• Experience in financial analysis, financial modelling and fundamental research, will be highly desirable.
