The intern will conduct market research, prepare financial analyses, support due diligence, and monitor investment performance, gaining insights into data centre investment.
JOB DESCRIPTIONKeppel is a global asset manager and operator headquartered in Singapore. With operations in more than 20 countries worldwide, we provide innovative solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing needs across the energy transition, rapid urbanisation, and increasing digitalisation.
This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.
Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
1) Conduct market research and analysis.
2) Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, models, investment memoranda and presentations.
3) Support the due diligence process.
4) Monitor the performance of existing investments.
5) Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Learning Outcomes:
1) Gain strong understanding of data centre investment life cycle.
2) Understand drivers for investment decisions by assisting with research and running feasibility analyses for deals.JOB REQUIREMENTSJob Requirements
1) Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3) Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
4) Relevant prior experience in financial analysis, financial modelling and fundamental research, will be highly desirable.
5) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6) Interest in the data centre industry and technology trends
