Department Overview
The Jr. Account Manager is responsible for working with regional Motorola Solutions customers. The candidate will focus on Account Management/Sales in the Southeast Region.
Job Description

The Jr. Account Manager is responsible for working with local government public safety accounts in the Southeast Region to drive new business opportunities and sales. This position sells public safety hardware and software solutions directly to customers within their designated accounts. This position will also support trade shows/event planning, managing contracts, as well as providing sales team assistance and support for identified key accounts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prospect and develop new opportunities to meet/exceed quotas and other sales objectives by regularly meeting with customers in person and remotely

  • Actively collaborate and strategize with key Account Executives to increase and capture sales within the Southeast Region

  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers

  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time in the territory

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

  • Possess a strong phone presence and superior communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal)

  • Perseverant; works hard and handles objections well

  • BA/BS in business or marketing preferred

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
