Provide infrastructure and end-user support for trading operations: monitor network and systems, manage incidents and vendor liaison, maintain servers and backups, support the Flux trading system, coordinate cross-team problem resolution, implement optimizations, produce IT documentation, and conduct security reviews.
- Act as the primary liaison with external network and infrastructure vendors.
- Monitor network and system health, managing incident response and escalation where required.
- Maintain server environments, including hardware oversight and system configuration.
- Execute scheduled maintenance activities such as backups, patch management, and updates.
- Provide user support for the Flux trading system, including access setup and troubleshooting.
- Deliver technical support for end-user devices, covering deployment, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Lead coordination of complex technical problem resolution across internal teams and third parties.
- Implement infrastructure improvements and optimisation initiatives.
- Produce and maintain IT documentation, operational procedures, and governance standards.
- Conduct security reviews and support implementation of protective controls.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions, data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and system operations
- Exposure to financial services, trading, or other fast-paced operational environments would be advantageous
- Comfortable working in a shift-based environment to support business and operational needs.
Working Arrangement
- Able to support a rotating 9-hour shift schedule between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
