Who Are We?

We at Movemedical make the world's best software solution for medical device companies.

We're hiring a Project Manager to be the main point of contact for our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role, you'll take a signed statement of work and turn it into a successfully delivered implementation, from kickoff through go-live and handoff to support. As we grow our footprint across APAC, you'll be one of the first dedicated PM presences in the region, a real chance to shape how we deliver here, not just execute against a process someone else already built.

We hire smart, tenacious people and give them the mentorship and opportunities they need to grow as team members and leaders. Our development process is built for remote teams and facilitates communication and trust. As a small company with big ambitions, we see and recognize the impact of every person on our team.

We are team-oriented and want each other to be successful; we pull together to accomplish our goals. Glassdoor gives us a 4.3/5.0 and Inc. put us on its Best Places to Work Editor's List in 2019.

Who are you?

You've spent your career as the person customers trust to get an implementation across the line — not managing timelines from a distance, but owning the plan, the budget, and the relationship yourself. You're comfortable being the main point of contact, running the meeting, and making the call when something needs a decision.

You've worked in an environment where the product changes fast and the process isn't always fully defined yet, and you're energized by that, not frustrated by it. You take full ownership of what you're responsible for, and when something falls outside the exact edges of your job description, you don't wait to be asked before stepping in.

You're technically curious. You don't need to configure the product yourself, but you want to understand how it actually works well enough to explain it to a customer with confidence. You use AI as a genuine productivity tool when it's useful, but it's not something we require.

What will you do?
  • Own the full lifecycle of customer implementation projects — scoping, planning, budget, timeline, and risk — from kickoff through go-live and support transition

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for APAC customers throughout implementation, building trust through clear, proactive communication

  • Run project status meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and keep deliverables on track across multiple concurrent projects

  • Identify and resolve blockers quickly, escalating early when something puts a timeline or budget at risk

  • Track project budgets, forecast financials, and manage change orders when scope shifts

  • Learn our product deeply enough to explain it credibly and troubleshoot with customers, without needing to be the one configuring it

  • Collaborate closely with Solution Consultants, Support, Training, and Enablement to keep delivery moving

  • Lead the handoff to Support at project close-out, making sure the transition is smooth for both the customer and internal teams

  • Work primarily in your own time zone, with occasional syncing with our teams in the US and Europe

  • Provide regular, accurate project status updates to internal leadership as well as customers, promoting transparency and setting proper expectations

  • Create and maintain project documentation, project charter, status reports, risk register, responsibilities matrix and keep it shared and up to date

  • Track project hours logged by internal team members and coordinate with finance on any invoicing or payment questions

  • Contribute to improving Client Delivery's project templates, processes, and tools over time

What skills and experience do we expect you to have?
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager in a customer-facing, implementation-focused capacity (not primarily internal or product-team project management)

  • Demonstrated experience owning a project end-to-end — plan, budget, and customer relationship with minimal oversight

  • Strong, confident communication skills; comfortable running meetings and being the person customers and internal teams turn to

  • Comfort working without a fully standardized process, solving problems as they come up rather than waiting for a playbook

  • Working familiarity with project tracking tools (JIRA experience preferred, not a hard requirement) and general comfort with tools like Microsoft Office and Confluence

  • Self-directed and independently motivated; able to manage priorities and ambiguous scope without heavy oversight

  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects

  • Collaborative working style, effective across product, solution consulting, support, and customer-facing teams

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience implementing software in life sciences, med device, or healthcare IT

  • Background at a smaller, less structured company alongside any enterprise experience

  • Comfort using AI tools to support your own productivity and workflow

  • Prior experience managing implementations for customers across multiple APAC markets

🏆 What Success Looks Like

By 3 months, you will confidently explain the platform to customers, independently own one implementation as the main point of contact, and have flagged any early red flags across the region's active projects.

By 6 months, you will be managing several implementations at once, on track for budget and timeline with no unflagged surprises. You will have handled at least one real complication, a slip, a scope change, transparently and well. You will have started improving the delivery process itself, not just following it. Customers will know you by name as their point of contact.

By 12 months, you will have a track record of on-time, on-budget deliveries. You will have built or improved a piece of the APAC playbook others now use. You will have proactively caught and resolved at least one cost or scope risk before it hit the customer. You will be the internal go-to voice on how implementation works in the region.

What character traits do we value?
  • Hungry — we eagerly own problems and take on new challenges without being asked

  • Humble — we emphasize the team over self and seek collective success over individual status

  • Strong — we are self-aware, seek and accept feedback, and can engage in crucial conversations

Benefits and Perks
  • Amazing team — everyone at Movemedical is helpful and wants you to be successful

  • Grow with the company — as a member of a small, fast-growing startup, you'll have many opportunities to level up in your career

  • Opportunity to help build our APAC delivery presence and process from the ground up

  • Flexible PTO

  • Work from home

  • Comprehensive benefits package

💵 Compensation

$35,000–$60,000 USD annually for candidates based in Malaysia or the Philippines, based on experience. For candidates based in Singapore, compensation will be discussed during the process.
