Role Title:  Project Manager (Junior)

Role Overview

  • The Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of banking projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timeline, cost, and quality standards. The role partners with business and technology teams to deliver application solutions, manage risks, and maintain strong project governance throughout the project lifecycle, reporting into the PMO.:
    • Project Delivery

      • Manage projects end-to-end, from planning through implementation and go-live

      • Own project scope, timelines, resources, budget, and quality

      • Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver project outcomes

      • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation plans and escalate when required

      • Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, and status reporting

      Governance & Control

      • Ensure projects comply with PMO frameworks, SDLC, PDLC, and ITIL processes

      • Maintain project governance, quality controls, and decision forums

      • Work with risk, security, and governance teams to ensure appropriate controls are in place

      Financial & Business Support

      • Support business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and financial forecasting

      • Track budget and cost impacts throughout project delivery

      • Support prioritization and investment decision-making where required

      Stakeholder Management

      • Act as the key liaison between business, IT, and external vendors

      • Communicate project progress clearly to sponsors and senior stakeholders

      • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively


Experience & Skills 

    • 5–7 years’ experience managing banking projects end-to-end

    • Strong understanding of SDLC, PDLC, and ITIL processes

    • Experience delivering projects in financial services or regulated environments

    • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and communication skills

    • Highly organized, proactive, and delivery-focused


Certifications (Advantage)

    • PMP/CAPM

    • PMI-ACP or CSM
