We are on the hunt for a sharp, detail-oriented Business Analyst Manager to join our dynamic team. You will play a key part in the digital transformation of complex business and data requirements into clear, actionable insights that will drive our business processes and guide our business decisions to contribute to our continued growth and success. This role demands close collaboration with diverse departments to fully grasp their business and data requirements and deliver top-notch digital solutions that address real business challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business challenges for oil & gas industry, with focus on commodity trading, commercial and supply chain operations to design digital business solutions addressing the challenges
- Lead discussions with various business functions, e.g. sales, commercial, operations, market intelligence and finance teams to understand the detailed business requirements
- Analyzed, design and document business requirements and solution design, involving detailed functional specifications and technical solution design.
- Translate high-level business objectives into detailed business process, technical requirement, and implementation plans.
- Recommend new solutions or enhancement to existing system to improve business efficiency.
- Actively drive for optimization and enhancement when translating business requirements to digital solutions
- Manage vendors for solution delivery, including to test, validate, and deploy new solutions and digital capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in information system, technology, or business
- 10+ years of experience in oil & gas or related industry, with focus on commodity trading, commercial and supply chain operations, including digital projects or business system analysis & design
- Experience with technical tools and solution like e.g. ERP, CRTM/ETRM, SCM, advanced data analytics, GenAI or other digital business systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on designing real-world solutions
- Good understanding of general business, oil & gas/commodity trading and supply chain operations, data flows, and performance metrics
- Ability to articulate technical ideas and solutions to business teams, business process and requirements to technical team, and lead project delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is a must Mandarin considered as a plus.
