Job Description

Responsibilities

Business Need Assessment & Process Optimization

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements for ongoing and upcoming initiatives.

  • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows and processes, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide actionable insights to optimize processes, ensuring they are scalable and aligned with organizational objectives.

Innovative Solution Design

  • Design efficient, secure, and scalable solutions tailored to meet Scoot’s unique business needs.

  • Employ generative AI tools and frameworks to optimize business processes and inspire data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop comprehensive solution documentation, including technical specifications that are accessible to stakeholders and developers.

End-to-End Project Coordination

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and communications to ensure seamless execution of deliverables.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to oversee change management, UAT processes, and system deployment while ensuring compliance with security measures.

Agile Collaboration & Team Support

  • Craft well-structured user stories supported by clear acceptance criteria for easy implementation by development teams.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for strengthening team performance by improving Agile practices and workflows.

Empowering Business Analysts

  • Mentor and coach team members to upskill their business analysis capabilities.

  • Develop guidelines, templates, and tools to standardize and enhance BA practices across the team.

  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure continuous learning and alignment with industry best practices.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Support RFQ and RFP processes, ensuring accurate document preparation and vendor evaluation.

  • Verify and process invoices promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in business process re-engineering and workflow optimization methodologies.

  • A deep understanding of Agile principles, with hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.

  • Expertise in applying generative AI solutions to augment and transform business workflows.

  • Knowledge of platforms like OpenAI, Google AI tools, or equivalent is highly desirable.

  • Experience mentoring and enabling business analysts to achieve team goals and elevate their skill sets.

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication abilities.

  • Previous experience in procurement and vendor management is a bonus.
