We are searching for a/an Principal Specialist, Business Analysis (Finance)! You will be part of the Information Technology team and will be solutioning and delivering financial software solutions. You will work closely with the business users to transform the organisation through the use digital technologies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department to gather and analyse business requirements related to financial accounting systems.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial accounting systems to ensure they meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business goals.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology-driven solutions.

  • Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents.

  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using financial accounting systems.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to financial accounting systems.

  • S4HANA: Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA

  • NetSuite: Implement and optimize business processes within NetSuite to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on financial accounting systems.

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in leading projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, system design, and implementation.
