PURPOSE
FWD Singapore aims to change the way people feel about insurance by leveraging technology to deliver products and services that are relevant, easy to understand and always convenient for our customers. We are looking for someone who would like to make an impact and join us on our journey.
As part of the Investment Operations team, this role reports to the Investment Operations Manager. This role provides support to the manager in ensuring the delivery of investment operations functions of FWD Singapore. This is a 6 months’ contract role.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Assist in investment ops and accounting, particularly ILP funds ops inclusive of month end closing, journal entries, reconciliation and related data management.
- Assist in other investment products, execute trade, settlement and liaison with counter parties/Fund Manager/custodian
- Assist in ensuring timely reporting, including regulatory AMS and group reporting relating to investment
- Assist in preparation of link fund Semi Annual and Annual report
- Liaise with auditor for Annual ILP report
- Process ILP fund dividend
- Support execution of investment document, contracts and onboarding
- Support/participate in implementation of finance project, ILP project
- Perform UAT testing and checking for finance/ILP product
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/Degree in Finance.
- 2-4 years relevant experience in investment operations.
- Experience in insurance organisation or fund management industry.
- Investment accounting and operations, fund management/ILP preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
- Familiar with Investment Link Fund operation function and reporting.
- Familiar with ILP regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Oracle and Excel.
- Experience in trade execution and effective delivery of investment operations functions.
- Strong communication skills, ability to liaise with and work across departments to achieve best outcomes for the business and customer.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and a good team player
