Our Investment group is looking for a motivated Analyst to support the investment and portfolio monitoring functions as well as the improvement of business operations. This role will gain exposure to a wide range of activities including the investment process, fund management, portfolio analysis and reporting. The Analyst will work closely with the Primary, Secondary, and Direct Co-Investment teams in Hong Kong and Singapore as well as the broader global team.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Driven to learn all aspects of the Primary, Secondary and Direct Co-Investment
- Diligent and task-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Able to efficiently prioritize multiple projects and target dates
- A team-player that can work collaboratively and independently to fulfill their responsibilities
- Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders
What you will do:
Portfolio-Related
- Prepare and maintain monitoring materials for all aspects of the Investment portfolio
- Prepare and coordinate materials for internal portfolio presentations (e.g. portfolio review and market updates)
- Participate in Primary, Secondary, and Direct Co-Investment group discussions in relation to the evaluation of investments
- Participate in ad-hoc projects in relation to existing funds and portfolio companies
General
- Find opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure processes are streamlined and scalable
- Assist with the implementation of Investment group central initiatives, ad-hoc operational projects, and other aspects of group management
- Respond to internal queries and requests in relation to the Investment portfolio
What you bring:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eFront and DealCloud
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.S), or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 9-12 months of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting capacity preferred
