About the Role
 
The OEGEN Asia Investments team is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst Intern to support the evaluation, execution and management of investments across the energy transition sector. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with the investment team throughout the investment lifecycle - from evaluating new opportunities and executing transactions, to monitoring portfolio investments and supporting strategic initiatives. The internship offers hands-on experience in private equity investing focused on the energy transition, providing a strong foundation for a career in this field.
 
This is a 6-month internship based in Singapore

What you'll do

  • Support the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling, commercial assessment and due diligence
  • Assist in transaction execution by coordinating due diligence processes, reviewing transaction materials and supporting deal documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of investment papers, presentations and materials for the Investment Committee
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing asset management activities
  • Conduct market, industry and company research to identify investment opportunities and support investment decisions

What you'll need

  • Strong academic record with prior internship or work experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance or renewable energy consultancy
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in investing, renewable energy or the broader energy transition
  • Ability to commit to a full-time internship for six months
