What you do Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing market and economic data to identify patterns and trends in FX, rates, and precious metals.
  • Maintaining and updating existing FX/Rates models and assisting in the development of new ones.
  • Collecting and compiling data from various sources, including third-party databases and central banks.
  • Collaborating on thematic research projects to deepen your understanding of the FX/Rates market.
  • Supporting the team with data analysis and presentation preparation.
  • Gaining exposure to other functions within the Global Markets trading floor.

Who you work with OCBC Global Markets encompasses Treasury Advisory and Institutional Sales, Asset Liability Management, Trading, and Business Management. All working together, offering services that enable efficient business operations and enabling customers to focus on growth. Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Possess a baseline familiarity with FX and interest rates concepts.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest and inquisitive mind regarding FX, rates, and precious metals.
  • Exhibit a forward-looking mindset and an awareness of emerging macro themes and industry trends.
  • Are meticulous, detail-oriented, and proficient in the MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
