As a Project Manager within JPMorganChase's International Private Banking team, you will work with complex business scenarios, tight deadlines, and competing priorities, requiring interaction with all levels of our organization. You will also promote strategic implementation and program governance, providing a unique opportunity to shape our ESG initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Act as project manager for key ESG-related regulatory projects and change management initiatives across the Wealth Management platform
- Collaborate with internal teams, including regional ESG leadership, product development, marketing, operations, technology, and control functions, to ensure compliance with sustainable investing regulations
- Drive analysis and documentation of project requirements and outcomes
- Oversee progress of project deliverables, ensuring timely completion and compliance with ESG regulations
- Co-develop and drive end-to-end implementation of target operating models and strategies to improve process efficiency, risk mitigation, and technology enhancement
- Present approaches and updates to senior management on project status and risk management
- Engage in continuous learning about ESG regulations and their impact on the business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 8 years of project or program manager experience
- Extensive experience in hands on project/program management, regulatory compliance, or a related field within the financial services industry
- Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to transform processes across multiple business areas, challenge business-as-usual operating models, and recommend innovative improvements
- Excellent analytical skills, communication, and presentation skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgement and a strong risk/control mindset
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of ESG principles and regulatory requirements relevant to the investment industry is a plus
