Program Overview

  • Intern experience will include a welcome orientation to provide our newest colleagues with a comprehensive view of business lines across Markets. In addition, multiple training sessions and networking opportunities will be offered, where you’ll experience our commitment to State Street’s most valuable asset: our employees.

  • Our Interns will receive continuous training and will benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects. Multiple opportunities will be on hand to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors and senior leaders of the firm.

  • As an intern, you will have the unwavering support of a mentor who can help you navigate the workplace and ensure you are best positioned for success

Who we are looking for

In this role, the candidate will support the GlobalLINK team in achieving its business objectives by contributing to regulatory and management reporting, driving project delivery, collaborating with stakeholders across functions, and ensuring the timely execution of key initiatives.

The candidate should be intellectually curious, eager to learn and grow, self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges. The role will also provide opportunities to develop and strengthen the following skills:

  • Strong problem-solving ability and confidence to ask challenging questions

  • Sound judgment and strong business acumen

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A keen interest in Global Markets, particularly in FX markets, Trade Cost Analysis, Money Markets Funds, etc.

  • Drive to succeed and a strong work ethic

  • The ability to learn quickly, multitask, prioritize, and take on new responsibilities

 

Responsibilities
As an intern, your responsibilities may include:

  • Assist and participate in different project initiatives

  • Coordinate with teams across different functions

  • Support automation of reports using excel or internal tools

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process improvement

  • Handling day-to-day activities needs

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to pursue a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 3.2 minimum GPA preferred

  • Background in Business Management, Machine Learning or Programming is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
