Project Scope:

As an Intern - Global Procurement Should Cost Analyst at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for driving the analytics, data and information gathering necessary to achieve the strategic objectives. You will collaborate with your team members and stakeholders across Micron’s global sites to ensure Micron meets current profitability objectives and achieves future cost-down aspirations.

You will also collaborate with various sourcing and engineering teams, site leaders and other stakeholders, and monitor key internal metrics, evaluate category market conditions/trends, supply/demand challenges and other pertinent category dynamics.

Project Description:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide solutions to improve current business workflow.
  • Collaborate with business team members to ensure that the solution is meeting the business needs.
  • Deliver reporting solutions using Business Intelligence tools, SAP Hana/Business Objects, Cleansheet and / or Tableau and Power BI.
  • Provides hands on demonstration of the solution and provide technical support to business team members during testing and deployment phase
  • Develop self-service analytics and reporting solutions for use by the stakeholders

Requirements: 
Currently in Data Analytics, Business & Administrations, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management
**Available to intern for 6 months will be a plus

Skills and Experience: 

  • Strong Data Analytics, Problem-Solving and Organizational skills
  • Proficient project management experience
  • Strong aptitude with data and information management, and reporting tools: Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, Tableau / PowerBI, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to work with small, big, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Excellent oral, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
