About the Role

Ready to be the creative force behind beloved brands? This isn't your average internship; it's a real-world playground where you'll get your hands on impactful consumer PR projects from day one. You'll dive into consumer media relations, building vital connections with lifestyle editors and influencers, flexing your writing muscles on compelling pitches and press releases. From monitoring daily news for brand mentions to supporting product launches and brand activations, you'll gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of consumer PR. We're looking for a Communications whiz with an undeniable passion for connecting with audiences, who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple projects with an eagle eye for detail, and is a collaborative self-starter ready to make a real impact on how our brands resonate with consumers over six months.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts. Manage our media database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of contact information.
  • Strengthen your skills in developing content such as drafting media pitches, press releases, media alerts, and invitations for various events and announcements.
  • Build your skills in media pitching through securing media coverage with editors/journalists.
  • Conduct daily media monitoring across various platforms (print, online, broadcast), compile media coverage reports, and analyze media trends.
  • Support the planning and execution of events, press conferences, and product launches, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site support.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, including hotels, restaurants, courier services, and premium suppliers, to ensure smooth event execution.
What You’ll Need
  • Applicants with Mass Communications background (PR, Branding, Digital, and Event Management).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail/follow through.
  • Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision but at the same time is a team-player.
  • Preferably able to commit 6-months internship engagement.
How We’ll Support You

We’ll give you the autonomy to seek out new paths and better ways of doing things. We’ll support you with colleagues who are experts in their disciplines, drawn from across the Ogilvy network. And we’ll provide opportunities for you to do work of which you’ll be proud, with people you’ll be proud to call your teammates.
