Project Description:

The semiconductor industry runs one of the most complex manufacturing lines, relying on advanced analytics solutions and scheduling systems that process millions of rows of data to support Planning and Production teams 24/7. These solutions enable critical decision-making to keep the line running smoothly and meet customer demands effectively. 

As an intern, you will join us on a journey to build a smart and interactive Analytics Monitoring & Alert System to ensure the accuracy of these critical analytics reports. Your work will help our teams detect deviations early and resolve them before turning into an issue, reduce false alarms, and also continuously improve the accuracy of monitoring.

Project Scope:

• Work on a robust Full-stack Monitoring system, integrating backend logic, database, and frontend dashboard.

• Explore and design new methodologies and failure modes for multiple analytic systems critical to fab operations.

• Build an intuitive interface for exploring triggered alerts and enable threshold fine-tuning and false alarm logging.

• Design a scalable framework to easily add and manage new metrics across reports.

• Knowledge in programming language like Python, SQL is a must have. Understanding of frontend/backend frameworks such as Angular and Flask is preferred.

• Demonstrate analytical thinking, curiosity, innovation, and a strong drive to deliver results in real-world challenges.

Deliverables:

• A new failure mode monitoring system that can automatically detect alerts and prescribe actions to help teams keep critical systems running reliably.

• An interactive dashboard linked to Teams alerts for quick issue identifications, detailed analysis and resolution feedbacks.

• A robust and scalable data infrastructure for adding and managing new metrics/failure modes.

• Features for threshold adjustment and false alarm logging.

• Clear documentation and recommendations for future improvements.

Requirement:

• Bachelor in Industrial Systems Engineering, Analytics courses etc.
• Available for credit bearing internship from January to May 2026
