Conduct market research on emerging green and bio-economy technologies across global markets, identify investment opportunities, present technology trends, assess inbound opportunities, support due diligence and competitive analysis, and maintain the internal CRM. The role requires a currently enrolled technical degree student with strong analytical, teamwork, initiative, multitasking, and independent-working skills. It is based in Singapore for three to six months.

Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities in emerging sectors across key geographies such as US, Europe, China and Singapore, to achieve EDBl's investment mandates.
- Deliver presentations to share about new technology trends with investment teams and senior management. Examples of emerging technologies include future energy technologies, AI x materials, green data centers, decarbonization, and the intersection of AI with climate tech.
- Assist in assessing inbound investment opportunities.
- Support investment team in due diligence process, including analyzing market size and competitive landscape.
- Assist investment team in the maintenance and upkeep of internal CRM.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a technical Degree program, e.g. Engineering, Science, Technology, or Sustainability.
- Passion for the venture capital industry and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong team player with high level of initiative and strong abilities to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- The role will be based in Singapore for 3-6 months.
