We are looking for an intern to join our Sustainability and Carbon Business team to support the development of our sustainability reporting and climate impact measurement processes, as well as contribute to ESG risk assessments and sustainability policy development.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and preparation of GenZero's sustainability report in alignment with relevant standards and frameworks
  • Assist in carbon accounting and climate impact measurementsand ESG data management, including quality assurance, reporting and implementation of sustainability reporting tools. 
  • Support ESG risk management, including portfolio data analysis, ESG assessments and sustainability due diligence
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability policies, guidelines and internal processes across the organisation
  • Conduct research and analyse industry best practices on sustainability reporting, carbon markets, sustainable aviation and emerging sustainability trends to support business initiatives and thought leadership
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business, finance, sustainability, environmental science or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in climate solutions, sustainability, or ESG Excellent research, writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks will be advantageous 
  • Demonstrated project management, organisational skills with an attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, organised, and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Minimum availability: 3-month internship (6-months preferred)
