This position is for 2025 intake.
We are seeking a highly motivated Intern for the Digital Transformation Office to assist in the delivery and continual improvement of our key technology services/platforms. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the implementation, development, technical support, and general administration of these platforms, ensuring their effective utilization, overall security, and smooth operation.

Responsibilities:

Jira Service Management Implementation:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to assist in implementing Jira Service Management portals for various teams and departments.
  • Participate in gathering requirements, configuring workflows, customizing forms, and supporting the integration of Jira with other systems.

Salesforce/Confluence Development and Enhancement:

  • Support the development and enhancement of Salesforce and Confluence solutions to meet business and user needs. a) Assist in customizing Salesforce objects, workflows, and automation to streamline processes. b) Contribute to promoting best practices for Confluence Knowledge Management.

Automation Implementation:

  • Collaborate on automation initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity by leveraging technology.

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders, assisting in troubleshooting issues related to our core platforms and tools.
  • Participate in resolving incidents, responding to queries, and contributing to root cause analysis efforts to prevent recurrence.

General Administration:

  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Contribute to maintaining the security and integrity of the systems, assisting in performing regular data backups, and participating in system documentation efforts.

Platform Enhancement:

  • Participate in discussions and provide input for the continuous improvement of Jira and Salesforce platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to provide insights that can optimize platform performance.

Integration, Security and Project Management:

  • Collaborate on integration projects, assisting in the integration of our core platforms and tools with other third-party tools and systems.
  • Participate and support in Security Risk Assessment and Security Requirements Planning
  • Support efforts to ensure seamless data flow and maintain data integrity between platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge and a willingness to learn about working with Jira Service Management, Salesforce, or similar ticketing and CRM platforms.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Developing verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, end-users, and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, embrace changing priorities, and approach new challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Collaborative Team Player: A desire to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Developing attention to detail to ensure accurate data management and system configuration.
  • Learning Aptitude: Eagerness to learn and expand technical knowledge to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
