This role sits at the intersection of data and commercial strategy. You'll work closely with the Data Analytics, Commercial, and Sales teams to surface market intelligence that helps our customers (property agents and developers) make smarter decisions. This is a hands-on role: you'll be working directly with real datasets, building outputs that go into live sales tools and artifacts used by the sales/commercial/analytics teams.

This role is ideal for someone who is not just comfortable with number but is curious about why the numbers look the way they do and can translate that into clear, actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

As a Guru you are accountable for:

Building a repository of Market Intelligence Insights

  • Explore and identify key metrics and insights from a consumer/property seeker's perspective in collaboration with the Commercial and Analytics teams.

  • Query and explore complex datasets to surface trends and patterns. Use Python, SQL  to extract, clean, structure, and analyse data, and validate findings before presenting them.

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for customers (Agents and Developers), presented in clear formats such as charts, infographics and presentation  decks that support a consultative selling approach.

Supporting Enhancements to Sales Tools (e.g. Agent 360 Dashboard)

  • Partner with the Analytics team to incorporate Market Intelligence insights into the Agent 360 Dashboard.

  • Help define the right metrics and indicators to surface at an agent level - thinking through relevance, data freshness, and audience needs.

  • Support the training and refinement of AI-assisted features within the dashboard by reviewing outputs, flagging anomalies, and providing feedback grounded in data.

Developing Sales Training Materials

  • Build on Market Intelligence outputs to develop case studies and training decks for the Sales Excellence team.

  • Identify patterns in customer engagement and call-to-action performance to derive practical learnings that can be embedded into sales training.

What are we looking for?

  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; strong with Excel/Google Sheets

  • Working knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy) for data wrangling and exploratory analysis, able to run and adapt scripts independently.

  • Ability to build clear visualisations and dashboards (Tableau/Looker/Power BI); strong data presentation skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides.

  • Grounded in descriptive statistics and able to structure a data narrative - from what the numbers say to so what and now what.

  • Analytical and curious - naturally drawn to understanding the why behind data, and able to translate vague business questions into a structured approach

  • Clear communicator who can present findings in a digestible way for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Collaborative self-starter; comfortable managing multiple workstreams across teams without needing close supervision

Our commitment to you:

  • Hybrid flexible working that focuses on outcomes over hours.

  • Holistic rewards package covering your financial, physical & mental health.

  • Multi-directional career development across all levels.

  • Inclusive benefits like equal paternity leave, supporting all employees in work-life balance.
