JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do:

  • Content

    2. Check breakfast log daily before the start of show  (songs, links, commercials) have loaded.                                                                

    3. Ensure sound bites & mock calls are in place for topic.                                                              

    4. Ensure all breakfast / Drive show content(teasers, audio rewinds, sweepers, pictures, videos) are made available across all platforms (websites, social networking, podcasts, mobile)                                                                               

    5. Organize and roster relevant artists/personalities / experts to be interviewed on breakfast / drive show.                                                      

    6. Forward planning of breakfast / drive  show - one week in advance.

      

    Administrative

    1.Develop black book of callers, experts, speakers & guests.                                                             

    2. Ensure all interviews are edited and placed in the correct categories in RCS a day before actual show.                                                        

    3.  Archive interviews, segments and features for future reference and can be recycled onto breakfast show.

    Show Development and Execution

    1. Lead brainstorming sessions with Drive talents and Brand Manager to generate ideas, features and benchmarks for drive show                                                                        

    2. Ensure all campaigns are executed according to the strategy of the show and/or to client's satisfaction.

    (Day to Day Scheduling and Maintenance)

    1. Scheduling of Music, Execution of station format and strategies effectively within the guidelines

    2. Making sure the station demonstrates its format every 15 to 25 minutes

    3. Ensuring that all the station's strategies and tactical music goal are reached

    4. Required to audition all new release for the station's play list

    5. Need to meet with record companies and forward plan potential future additions to play list

    6. To reflect music events that affect demographic on station's format

    7. Responsible for updating and maintaining the current play list and music universe                              

    8. Ensure the logs & database are maintained well including hooks setting, NTP, segues when scheduling, are all in place.

    9. Ensure the logs are ready at least 2 days in advanced.

    10. MACP & PPM Report submission.

    - Generate ideas &implement music for Special Occasion/special project

    - Attend station events when required
