About the Role

The Fund Controller APAC (Contract) is responsible for leading the APAC Finance and Accounting team  in relation to fund accounting and operational activities, in the absence of the Director, Controller APAC.

This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer – EQT Real Estate, with a dotted line reporting to Director, Controller APAC; and partner closely with the internal teams based across the different regions.

The core duties of the role are as follows:

  • Oversee the accounting and finance operations of real estate funds for the EQT Real Estate APAC business.
  • Supervise the APAC accounting and finance team to achieve business objectives including responsiveness, technical competence, timeliness and accuracy of the reporting and operational functions.
  • Monitor controls and payment processes within the accounting and finance functions
  • Review of the fund financial information including monthly/quarterly property level financial reports and quarterly fund level financial reports.
  • Provide guidance to the wider team to optimize working capital, liquidity, and cash flow.
  • Support acquisition and disposition activities for the accounting and operational aspects.
  • Oversee the year end reporting and filing obligations, including statutory audits
  • Support accounting & operational related activities, as required, for new product launches.
  • Ad-hoc projects as directed by CFO.
