Job Description

We are expecting the student to start the internship in January 2027

Candidates graduating in 2028/2029 are welcome to apply

What you'll bring

You're a student with a strong interest in communications and storytelling. You want to gain hands-on experience at a global technology company and make an impact across Asia Pacific.

  • An academic background in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A critical mindset with close attention to detail in everything you produce.
  • Comfort with digital tools — design software, video editing platforms, or social media tools.
  • A collaborative approach — you build strong relationships and contribute to shared goals.
  • A genuine curiosity about audiences — employees, partners, and customers — and what makes communications resonate.

We also look for people who communicate clearly, keep the customer in mind, and enjoy finding smart solutions to problems — whatever stage of your career you're at.

In addition to the role-specific skills above, all student and early talent positions at SAP look for candidates who are open to working with AI tools — including agentic AI — to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted ways of working from day one.

What you'll build

You'll contribute to live APAC communications projects, developing real skills with visible impact.

  • Create and distribute PR content — media pitches, press releases, by-line articles, and blogs.
  • Produce multimedia content including infographics, videos, presentations, and executive briefing documents.
  • Take ownership of the monthly APAC ONE Newsletter — from content collation to distribution and SharePoint updates.
  • Coordinate with Market Unit communications leaders across APAC on regional reporting and guidance.
  • Support internal and external events, including townhalls, coffee corners, and webinars.
  • Track media coverage and support reporting with simple graphic design enhancements.

Where you belong

The Marketing & Communications Asia Pacific team connects SAP's voice with employees, media, and partners across the region. You'll work alongside communications leaders across multiple markets. When you join SAP, you'll be a part of SAP Next Gen — a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. This internship gives you real experience, a strong portfolio, and lasting professional connections.
