Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated System & Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support our IT infrastructure systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of enterprise systems and networks across our organization.
What will you do?
- Deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions (e.g., servers, networks, storage).
- Administer and monitor enterprise systems including Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices.
- Perform regular system performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Automate infrastructure processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Proficient with Cisco, Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent or similar network hardware.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, NAT, QoS).
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Understanding of network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is desirable.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- CCNP/ CCNA/ CISSP is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
