Your role

As an Information Security Manager, you will lead a regional team to support the Firm’s Information Security Programme.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering security awareness training programmes.
  • Leading a high-performing team, developing and implementing team goals and providing guidance to enhance team performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
  • Coordinating responses to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Engaging in post-incident analysis to share key insights and lessons learned to prevent future occurrences.
  • Working with third party IT service providers and MSSPs
  • Conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Providing guidance and support to the Firm as required on all matters related to information security.
  • Overseeing the enforcement of security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation on security status, incidents, and improvements.

About you

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM.
  • Background in delivering information security programmes with hands-on experience of protecting information systems in large organisations, where third parties are contracted to deliver IT services.
  • Understanding of cyber security regulations, with experience ensuring compliance with relevant standards and laws.
  • Expertise in incident response, coordinating security resolutions, and deriving actionable insights from post-incident analyses.
  • Experience in performing security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of emerging cyber threats with the ability to adapt security strategies for robust protection.
  • Proficient in engaging with senior leadership to align security efforts with business objectives and communicate threat landscapes.
  • Track record of successfully leading information security teams, with experience in setting goals, managing performance, and fostering team development.
