Our client, a leading global reinsurer, is continuing to strengthen its presence in Asia and is seeking to appoint an Actuarial Analyst (IFRS 17) based in Singapore.

As part of the Property & Casualty team and reporting directly to the Reserving Actuary, you will play a key role in reserve calculations and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing reserving studies and benchmarking to establish robust, market-aligned reserving bases.

  • Supporting the actuarial aspects of IFRS reporting, including data input validation, detailed analysis, and preparation of results explanations.

  • Partnering with regional and global colleagues to contribute to strategic projects and business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with:

  • A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in either Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life & Health (L&H) within insurance or reinsurance.

  • Familiarity with IFRS and/or statutory reporting requirements (preferred).

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive and commercial mindset, able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
