Who Are We

The Business Decisioning and Analytics team leverages AI and data analytics to drive data-first business decision making in Group Channels and Digitalisation to achieve best-in-class in customer service across the region, be it to enhance their omni-channel experiences, deepen their lifelong relationships with the Bank or to safeguard their interests through astute risk management. By amalgamating domain knowledge with data science technical expertise, the team develops dynamic dashboards, predictive data models and prescriptive control towers that deliver impactful and purposeful outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders alike.  

Role and Responsibilities

• To leverage data and operationalize AIDA (Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics) best practices in our quest to build better decisioning tools and outcomes around customer obsession.
• To support the BDA team in testing and learning the various AIDA use cases that can help the bank better serve, engage and secure our customers and establish AIDA use cases that drive attributable and actionable outcomes.
• To contribute and be involved in the pipeline of data innovation initiatives that BDA is working on, be it in delivering customer or employee first outcomes. This involves understanding the extended data ecosystem that the bank can leverage and working with the relevant partners from ideation to execution of data initiatives.

• Gain a deeper appreciation about how the use of data and analytics can deliver business outcomes and have hands-on experiences in deriving actionable and attributable insights that can add value to stakeholders across the bank.
• Be cognizant of the values and ethics that are key to ensuring the proper usage of data and AIDA methods that can further enhance our commitment to responsible AI.  
• Understand how innovation initiatives are ideated and executed in a bank setup and learn about the various considerations required to achieve success in innovation-related initiatives.

Who Are We Looking For

• Undergraduate degree in any of the following disciplines: computer science, data analytics, computer engineering, social sciences, liberal arts;
• Having coding knowledge and experience will be a plus;
• Inquisitive about the impact of technology and the disruption and opportunities it brings to industries like banking and finance;
• A creative individual and out-of-box thinker who can balance critical thinking with structured rational thought.
