The HR Support Coordinator provides guidance on HR policies, manages transactional HR activities, ensures data accuracy, and supports HR technology implementations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role also manages transactional HR activities, ensuring data accuracy across systems such as Workday and maintaining compliance with internal processes and data privacy standards.The coordinator plays a key role in safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of critical HR data, which directly impacts payroll, benefits administration, and other essential HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate support for Workday, payroll, benefits, compensation, and other HR transactions through case management tools and telephony systems.
- Process and maintain HR data according to established governance and compliance standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data integrity, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure data accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to HR standards.
- Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and HR Operations teams to maintain a high payroll accuracy rate and seamless data integration across systems.
- Support the implementation, testing, and adoption of HR technology solutions, including Workday HCM and Payroll.
- Provide expert-level assistance and guidance on HR business processes and data management.
- Maintain compliance with Data Privacy & Protection policies and applicable legislation.
- Work independently on routine and complex HR tasks, escalating issues only when necessary.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in HR support services, HR administration, or as an HR Generalist.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Workday HCM and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- High attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Experience using case management tools and telephony systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; OR a minimum of 3 years of equivalent HR support experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or equivalent HR certification.
- Experience working with Workday HCM, ADP eTime, and Payroll systems.
- Previous experience in a shared services or global HR operations environment is a plus.
