Job Description

HR Policy Development and Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with organizational goals.

  • Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect legislative changes, industry best practices, and organizational needs.

  • Provide guidance and training to HR stakeholders, managers and employees on HR policies to ensure compliance and understanding.

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of policies, recommending improvements or changes where necessary.

Project Management for Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Partner with the CPO to design and implement initiatives and ensure that HR projects and policies align with the organization’s goals.

  • Manage HR-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder buy-in.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Monitor changes in employment law and ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant.

  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory audits and compliance-related inquiries.

  • Identify potential risks related to HR policies or practices and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in HR policy development and project management, preferably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
