What you will be doing:
1. Build and Implement Core HR Policies and Processes (First 3-6 Months)
- Design and roll out HR policies and procedures that align with company culture and growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry best practices in hiring, payroll, and benefits.
- Develop an employee handbook with clear guidelines on workplace expectations, leave policies, and performance management.
- Establish a scalable HR infrastructure, setting up HR systems and tools to support rapid growth.
- Develop a structured hiring process to attract top engineering, operations, and leadership talent.
- Implement and maintain an Applicant Tracking System (eg. Jazz HR) to streamline recruitment.
- Create a compelling employer branding strategy to position Doodle Labs as an employer of choice.
- Improve the onboarding experience, ensuring all new hires feel welcomed and productive within 30 days.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Develop and implement a performance review framework, enabling data-driven talent decisions.
- Establish a training and development program, ensuring employees have clear career growth paths.
- Build internal communication strategies to improve transparency and alignment with company goals.
- Benchmark and implement competitive compensation structures to retain top talent.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Evaluate and recommend benefits programs (healthcare, wellness initiatives, remote work policies, etc.).
- Ensure equitable pay practices across all departments.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace.
- Design and implement culture-building activities such as company events, mentorship programs, and leadership development.
- Act as an advisor to leadership, providing strategic recommendations on culture and people operations.
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a fast-growing tech or startup environment.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, policies, and labor laws.

- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
