Position Purpose: Perform and lead various analysis and interpretation of complex data to link business needs and objectives for assigned functions, with a strong emphasis on healthcare quality and HEDIS data and implement process and performance improvements.
- Lead the support of business initiatives through hands on data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems.
- Lead the identification and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
- Independently analyze raw datasets to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable business recommendations (not solely reviewing pre-analyzed data).
- Resolve issues and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement through quantitative analysis and root cause investigation.
- Perform detailed analysis on multiple projects; recommend data backed business solutions and ensure successful implementations, including improvements and revisions to business processes and requirements.
- Evaluate risks and concerns, including data integrity and performance impacts, and communicate findings to management.
- Coordinate with various business units and departments in the development and delivery of training programs.
- Develop, share, and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications and analytical workflows.
- Oversee all changes to departmental policies and procedures, including communicating and implementing the changes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the assigned function product to ensure operational performance.
- Ability to travel.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of business process or data analysis preferably in healthcare or 5+ years of HEDIS analysis.
- Strong experience working with raw HEDIS data, including interpretation, validation, and analysis for healthcare quality initiatives strongly preferred.
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing, modifying, and executing queries and scripts to support analysis and reporting strongly preferred.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or insights using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting for large datasets strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities, and proactively question findings to drive business decisions (not limited to reviewing pre-analyzed datasets) strongly preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.

Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
