We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Information Security Officer to lead the Bank’s cybersecurity efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall information security strategy and programmes. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements to ensure the protection of the organisation's data, systems, and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the cybersecurity strategy and establish principles and blueprints for the OCBC Group and several other entities (“Group”).
- Create a Cyber Defence Roadmap to tackle prevailing cyber threats across the Group.
- Inform the Board, Senior Management, and stakeholders about significant technology and cyber risk developments, including the Group's security strategy and readiness.
- Supervise technology security roadmaps for Group and ensure alignment of security processes.
- Drive initiatives to maintain and enhance technology security capabilities in line with the Group's profile.
- Identify emerging technologies that would modernize existing capabilities.
Risk Management
- Assess the IT security posture of the Group.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the Group’s technology security framework.
- Conduct project security reviews to uphold controls and compliance with the Group’s technology security standards.
Financial Management
- Lead initiatives to meet approved operating budgets and expenses while maintaining service levels.
- Drive cost management efforts to achieve efficiencies and synergies across the Group in implementing new capabilities.
People Management
- Develop succession and development plans for the function.
- Build regional expertise to support existing and new systems and technologies.
- Attract, retain, and motivate talent to maintain a highly capable workforce.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
- 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity and IT security, managing teams of over 100 staff members.
