Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets.
- Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Set sales targets, monitor team performance, and implement strategies to drive growth.
- Identify new revenue opportunities across print, digital, events, branded content, social, video, and sponsorships.
- Develop category and account growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across clients, agencies, and strategic partners.
- Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing client partnerships.
- Represent the company at key industry events and networking opportunities.
- Negotiate high-value commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
Commercial Management
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through negotiation, execution, and post-campaign reporting.
- Ensure timely responses to client briefs with innovative and commercially viable integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, creative, events, and production teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
- Ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention through exceptional account management.
Team Management
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a consultative sales approach focused on long-term client partnerships.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across regional teams.
Revenue Planning & Reporting
- Own revenue forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare regular commercial reports and present business updates to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvements in sales processes, CRM utilization, and commercial effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in media sales, advertising, or integrated marketing solutions, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Extensive experience selling integrated 360° advertising, branded content, sponsorship, digital, print, and event solutions.
- Strong network across media agencies and direct clients, particularly within luxury, lifestyle, automotive, travel, hospitality, fashion, beauty, financial services, and premium consumer brands.
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into revenue-generating opportunities.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital savvy, with experience using market insights, audience data, and analytics to develop client recommendations.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
